When children first enter foster care, there are many needs. We provide bags with items tailored to that child. These items often include diapers, wipes, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and toys. Fostering Grace will work with the foster parent and their social worker to determine which items are needed.
Many times, children entering foster care need specific items quickly. Foster parents are given gift cards so that children have the things they need quickly.
Adopting a child from foster care can change both your lives forever. Learn more about the adoption process and how we can help.
Foster parenting is not meant to be done alone. An estimated 30% to 50% of new foster families stop fostering within their first year. Foster parents often report feeling a lack of support from the system and may feel isolated. We feel that this is due to a lack of support.
Fostering Grace would like to come beside foster, adoptive, and kinship families to help . We are looking to host groups across Lincoln County to meet on a monthly basis. If you have a space available for this to occur (large home, church space, community center), please reach out using our Contact Us page.
